The MedStation® workstation software is:

MedStation View; is most applicable for review in the ER, Trauma, ICU, CCU and other locations where online system access is needed for quick review of images and reports. This version supports most of the standard tools of the MedStation STD version as well as list previous studies on the system matching the current patient being viewed.

MedStation STD; is most applicable for use in a primary diagnosis or study reporting location such as the reading room in Radiology. This version of MedStation supports all of the diagnostic tools including Multi-planar reconstruction (MPR), drag and drop hanging protocols as well as list previous studies on the system matching the current patient being viewed. MedStation STD also provides advanced DICOM Structured Reporting. The reports can be typed or dictated directly from the image viewer and saved in DICOM SR format. MedStation STD as an option can include an internally launched VOXAR 3D for dynamic 3D renderings while reviewing or reporting a case.

MedStation PRO; is a MedStation STD integrated with basic DICOM Image Server software (PACS in a PC) that provides a most sophisticated workstation for capture, display, enhancement and reporting of digital modalities for up to 5 modalities. The system is modular and expandable for growth and security as you grow. This system is perfect for an imaging center and small imaging departments. MedStation PRO is also perfect for store and forward Tele-Radiology.

MedStation WEB; is basically the MedStation with the difference being that it is WEB based and can be configured for both internet and intranet access to images, reports and clinical information. There is no installation necessary on the client and with the proper user authentication DICOM structured reports can be viewed, created and saved directly on he archive. The application here is primarily for facility internal distribution, referring physician distribution, on-call access for radiologists or radiology support personnel and seamless Tele-radiology as well as remote reporting by Radiologists.

The DicomWare™ Server software is:

DicomWare; is the server software platform on which each module of functionality is based or each library of functionality is supported. This is the integrated image management for radiology and cardiology modalities. The system platform is designed for access and exchange between modalities, RIS, CIS, reporting systems, etc.

DicomWare Archive Manager; is the server software for management and storage of radiological and associated digital images. DW Archive Manager provides absolute reliability for permanent data storage as well as total conformity with international standards including current regulations in document storage. These multiple features allow for configuration from entry level to complex architectures for distribution on several local/remote networked servers. DicomWare AM features an embedded web server for image distribution with MedStation WEB.

DicomWare HIP; is the platform module for RIS integration and diagnostic modalities. HIP stands for Healthcare Integration Platform which is the information broker allowing integration of all the information needed to manage a Diagnostic Imaging Department of any size. This library of software features; DICOM and HL7 support, proprietary integration based on TCP/IP and SQL protocols, worklist distribution, cross-coding, normalization, data conversion, remote administration and more.

PhoneidoS® voice activated reporting from GST (www.gsttn.it):

The Synthesis of “sound” and “shape” in radiology, PhoneidoS is the voice-managed system, which allows inquiry and analysis of radiological images and a natural link among technologies for speech recognition, digital imaging and workflow.

The RMS version is software dedicated to Radiologists that integrates speech recognition, imaging and workflow in a single architecture. It is a software environment purposely designed to create a better relationship between user and machine and can be customized to meet specific user requirements.

The OCX version has been especially designed for better integration with the hosting RIS or MedStation. PhoneidoS OCX works hand in hand with MedStation STD and/or MedStation WEB to directly place the study reports in the study folder whether local or remote. It includes a field for report dictation along with all the main functionality available with PhoneidoS-DI. It includes a correction module for batch modality. DI (Dictation Interface) is a software application that simplifies speech recognition use. PhoneidoS®-DI improves the activity of a Radiologist both in terms of quality and timeliness. To achieve this PhoneidoS®-DI has been designed with exclusive, especially developed features.

Thanks to the PhoneidoS® – Word application, the Physician can use speech reporting directly within a Microsoft Word document. It is therefore particularly useful both for information systems within the department where MS® Word is used as editor, and for the dictation of medical reports outside of the standard hospital information environment.
